De los valles de Zacatecas, a el valle de Salt Lake, the Valdez family created Real Taqueria in the roots of a dream to share our homemade recipes with all our amigos. We proud ourselves in serving authentic Mexican food, and we're passionate about creating tasty, high-quality food and experiences around the Mexican cuisine. Real Taqueria started in 2018 with the Big Red-Our 1970s food truck, serving our recipes across the valley: from Ogden to Provo. We then embarked in a new adventure, opening our first location in Holladay, and joined a welcoming and kind community. Real Taqueria is a minority-owned small business that focuses on our passion for food by partnering with incoming hispanic immigrants finding their own way to the Valle de Salt Lake City. We envision providing an experience where authentic, tasty food is available to anyone, to make them feel like they are part of our home, our Familia. From the taqueros that provide the product and service to every customer, every individual can share the connection of enjoying a piece of our heritage.

“This restaurant is great! The food is so, so tasty! I got the Nachos con Carnitas and my Husband got the Tacos de Lengua. Both were very good! The meat on both was seasoned great and all the toppings worked really well. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant itself is very clean!

“I love this place-it is my "go-to" fish taco place! I love all of the fresh ingredients and condiments they provide to embellish my tacos. Lines are usually long because everything is made fresh and that takes time. The queso dip is good and it's nice to sit inside with chips and dip. We love the variety of non-alcoholic drinks and the authenticity of the food.

“What a gem! I’ve been once before and decided to give it another try for dinner tonight. At 8:30 the drive-thru line was 5+ cars deep and the inside looked packed. We opted for the drive-thru and I was surprised how quick it went. The employees at the window were very nice and quick as well.

“A find! Simple, cute decor brightens up this roomy space. My salmon taco was delectable. Hubby loved his adobada and lengua tacos. Lots of fresh veg in the tacos. Salsas were delicious as well. Looking forward to trying other menu items, especially enchiladas and flan. Recommend.
